Now more than ever, we’re spending more time in our homes. This makes style and comfort an absolute must. However, creating such an environment can often be quite a challenge. Sure, it’s easy to follow passing fads but at Catalina Lighting, we offer you a multitude of styles that have lasting appeal.
We design an array of products that meet your needs for both quality and choice. In addition to our many traditional offerings, we continue to develop lighting based on the latest design trends. In order to satisfy a diversity of style preferences (including yours of course!), we researched and created Style Categories to define our products.
Our Style Categories are based on specific design characteristics such as pattern, color and materials. The four general categories are as follows:
- Decorative
- Traditional
- Contemporary
- Rustic
Decorative is defined by the formal use of lavish materials, highly embellished surfaces and rich color. Here, you’ll find fixtures in gilded Gold, Alabaster and Crystal.
We refer to the next style type as Traditional, which features simple yet understatedly elegant designs. This is a less formal decorating style based on symmetry and dependability. Ideal examples would be Brass fixtures that coordinate with warm wood finishes and subdued color palettes.
The third group, Contemporary, typically encompasses designs consisting of crisp angles, straight lines and unique material combinations. Products within this category include lamps made of brushed steel and frosted glass.
Rustic, our fourth category, consists of products that are handcrafted and made with natural materials. Products in this category are created from distressed surfaces, metal work and darker finishes.
